Position Title: Software Engineer III

External Description:

NW-team Software Engineer - Cell Product Owner and Scrum Master

We are looking for a software engineer to take on the cell product owner and Scrum master roles in our network team. We would like this person to grow into an engineering manager in the 1-2 years’ timeframe. We would also expect this person to have an interest in the tech we develop and the ability to chip in when needed on the technical aspect, be that integration, bugs or other high importance tasks.

 

The role will include:

  • Lead backlog refinement for the cell-team
  • Be the main contact to stakeholders for the cell-team
  • Engineer Productivity – drive for continuous improvement of workflows, equipment, tools and iteration loops.
  • Fostering an agile engineering culture that values delivery, quality, and good craftsmanship.
  • Follow up on tasks, priority and timetables
  • Help the team out when needed on engineering tasks.

 

Skills and Experience:

Software Engineering Leadership – Know how to develop quality software and know if we are on track to do that with the current plan/work.

People Leadership – Must have great social skill. Must be able to get the best out of a diverse team of people even when delivery pressure is high.

Domain knowledge – Understanding and interest in the domain technical work. Should have no problem following technical discussions in our problem space.
