Position Title: Software Engineer II

Summary

Industrial Toys is a AAA mobile developer founded by Halo veteran Alex Seropian. Our mission is to make games that are Mobile To The Core! We are currently working to bring cutting edge FPS gaming to your phone. If you’re interested in working with veteran mobile, console, and PC developers in creating new AAA experiences to reach billions of mobile players around the world we would like to hear from you!

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure monitoring and logging infrastructure for cloud deployed services
  • Develop and optimize build scripts for CI/CD pipeline 
  • Monitor and optimize AWS cloud services costs
  • Configure and upgrade JIRA and Confluence cloud deployments

Required Skills

  • Linux LPIC-1 Administrator certification or work experience equivalent. Installing/updating software using package manager, managing users and file system permissions. Memory, CPU, IO issues investigations and resolution. 
  • Basic scripting with bash
  • Experience with AWS Cloud. Required services: EC2, RDS, ElastiCache. Configuring SecurityGroups rules. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging configuration (Datadog, NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch)
  • Python scripting experience
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with other AWS services: DynamoDB, CloudWatch Events, Lambda 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Groovy scripting
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools.  (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)  
  • AWS Certifications: AWS DevOps Associate/SysOps Pro.
