Position Title: Sr Software Engineer I

External Description:

Gameplay Software Engineer

We are looking for an accomplished Gameplay Software Engineer to join an experienced team of developers working on an exciting new mobile game. This is an opportunity for you to join a veteran team and help create the vision and execution of a compelling, creative, and immersive experience. You will report to our technical director and work with Designers, Artists and other Engineers to implement game systems for a new mobile strategy game.

Expectations:

• You will implement game features in collaboration with designers and artists
• Work with us in one of EA's first true distributed team environments
• Adopt and promote best practices to improve our newly formed team dynamics
• You'll provide quality code review feedback to other software engineers

Technical Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
• 5+ years of game development experience with 1+ years in a related role

Required Non-Technical Skills

• Demonstrate dependability and positive attitude
• Desire to work with other game developers in a cooperative team environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with Unity, C#
• Mobile development for iOS and Android
• Typescript /Javascript
• Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-quality games
• 4x and strategy genre experience
