You’re comfortable with ambiguity, anticipate problems, and can turn on a dime if needed. People know you’re the go-to person for the day-to-day aspects of your projects. You know how to run and recap a meeting and teach that skill to your producers. Cross-functional collaboration is one of your favorite things. You’re proactive, collaborative and have a deft hand at maintaining relationships and expectations. It goes without saying you’re a great communicator who can articulate the team’s POV.

Who will you work with?

The Marcom Creative & Strategy team that sets the foundational creative direction for the content that fuels EA’s digital experiences by creating imagery, video and motion graphics that is brand and platform right. Marcom leads the creation, advocacy and adoption of EA Digital Experience and Standards across the companydriving a unified, premium brand experience that powers digital design, tools and guidance to our partners. We also support the executive team with strategic communications when needed.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 5 Full Time and Contractor Producers of different skillsets and backgrounds
  • Content Production – Help create, organize and execute the production of assets for both Design and Video
  • Maintain Toolset – Maintain the tools we use on a day to day basis
  • Build large, complex project- and workback schedules to achieve key milestones
  • Manage multiple high-stakes and high-visibility projects at the same time
  • Liaise daily between cross functional teams
  • Daily tracking of all assets and approvals
  • Coordinate with production execution to ensure assets are tracking on time
  • Create asset production schedule from initial briefing through to deploy with strong follow through to ensure project is staying on time and on budget
  • Expert in Design, Motions Graphics, Post and VFX-production process
  • Expert in adaptation/localization process
  • Maintains a solution-oriented mindset to solve production questions
  • Drives actionable feedback from the creative lead and other stake holders
  • Strong relationships with outside vendors/production partners/Ad Agencies
  • Accountable for managing and tracking $3.5MM budget with finance partner
  • Help develop and implement scalable tools, process and standards

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in leading creative ideation through production at an agency, in-house or start-up
  • Passion for Video Games & Star Wars and for creating high-quality work fluency in project tracking and management tools and an in-depth understanding of marketing communication and brand strategy
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to use them to solve problems
  • Self-driven with the ability to take projects from inception to execution
  • Detailed and Organized
  • Excellent Follow through
  • Expert understanding of creation of Key Art, Design Systems, Out of Home, Live Action, VFX, Editorial and Post-Production
  • Real Time Game Engine experience strongly desired
  • Previous employment at a Video Game Company or Design/Motion Graphics House strongly desired
  • Creatively driven and problem solver
  • Must be able to keep focus on multiple tasks and effectively set priorities among projects
  • Strong knowledge of how to operate social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Leader, Self-Driven and can manage multiple personalities and time zones
