Social Media Producer – Competitive Gaming
EA – Redwood Shores, CA

EA is seeking a Social Media Producer

In this position, you will play an integral role in producing and managing competitive gaming social media content across multiple titles. As the Social Media Producer for the Broadcast Team, this person will work with partners on our Brand and Community teams to deliver short-form video and copy with a mobile-first, social-first mindset helping to provide followers exclusive content.

This is a 1-year contract position.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit written copy for web, and social media sites and can move adeptly among styles, tones and voices
  • Edit & produce short form videos tailored to individual social platforms.
  • Film short form content for social channels.
  • Use industry best practices to maximize engagement, growth, and click-thru across platforms
  • Experience with and knowledge of social media best practices for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Twitch.
  • Consistently communicate trends, shifts, opportunities, and statuses with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools. Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research best ways to increase traffic
  • Engages with and elevating the online community by sourcing user-generated content, managing social media inboxes, commenting, replying etc.
  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with key project stakeholders on our brand and community teams.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to competitive events.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of professional work experience with a focus on Social Media.
  • Knowledge of the competitive gaming landscape.
  • Expert in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and flexible when it comes to re-prioritizing tasks due to business demands.
  • Ability to work well both cross-functionally and collaboratively as a team player and as a self-starter. Strong facilitator to help others complete the task at hand and work together.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
