Position Title: Senior Facilities Specialist

External Description:

Responsible for identifying potential threats and fraudulent activities directly or indirectly affecting EA’s assets, people and interests globally. The incumbent will be tasked with providing investigative and intelligence collection support to EA’s internal business operations as assigned. This role requires combination of investigations, event security, executive protection, and intelligence gathering skills to be used in the detection of fraud, abuse and other criminal activity from external and/or internal entities, in order to protect EA’s employees, visitors, players and interests, globally. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the identification, investigation and case management of incidents involving EA or our partnership organizations.
  • Conduct investigations and collect information related to threats originating from external sources outside the company, as well internal incidents and issues such as theft, vandalism, and workplace violence.
  • Develop, track, and maintain reporting of statistical and written analysis of user threats, incidents and investigations for management review.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, and investigative organizations.
  • Maintain direct communication and liaison with corporate and outside counsel members, law enforcement agencies, and private consultants, as appropriate.

  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated note keeping, report writing ability, electronic case management, and conduct investigations to meet criminal and civil evidentiary standards.
  • Experience liaising with law enforcement/government investigators
  • Ability to learn basic technical aspects of EA’s products and services.
  • Ability to remain flexible, with demonstrated ability to conduct intelligence gathering and investigations with little to no direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate investigative findings to Executive Staff.
  • Experience performing site security risk assessments and other physical security assignments.
  • Experience performing or coordinating personal protection assignments, including executive protection.
  • Experience providing travel safety advice.

Professional Expertise/ Knowledge

  • Significant experience with investigations (corporate or government), intelligence collection and executive protection.
  • Protection of confidential business information and critical assets
  • Experience performing site security risk assessments and other physical security assignments.

Experience

  • 5+ years in a similar role within a Global Corporate Investigations Team, Law Enforcement (Central Police/State Police), or Military organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Preference for technical skills which allow for liaising with Information Technology to implement technical solutions specific to investigations.
  • Developed investigative and analytical skills specific to a corporate high-tech environment
  • General understanding of workplace violence and related cases/issues/incidents.
  • Strong and effective communications, including verbal presentations, skills.

Education

  • Bachelors or advanced degree(s) or combination of requisite experience and education.
  • ASIS International, or similar, affiliation.
  • Interviewing training.
  • CFI, PCI, CFE, or similar certification preferred.

Reporting Requirements

  • Program / project management reporting – key initiatives.
