Main Purpose of the Role

Marketing at EA is a global, highly dynamic interdependent team that brings globally renown campaigns to life for some of the most exciting games on the market like FIFA, APEX and Star Wars.

The Content Operations Manager will drive end-to-end management from creation to delivery of our marketing content.

Our ideal candidate will be able to understand marketing and channel needs, create and optimize solutions, challenge decisions, drive production outputs and ensure our cutting-edge marketing gets out into the world on time and on point.

You will be the mortar between the bricks, connecting teams and processes. Our marketing team is effectively an in-house creative agency and this role will be part of a new capability that brings central accountability for delivery of assets to our channels.

This is a diverse, expanding and challenging role reporting to the Head of Content Operations, based in Geneva, Switzerland, with daily communication to the team spread out across the globe.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assume central accountability for delivery of assets by enforcing SLAs (service level agreements), ensuring transparency of status and flagging risks where necessary; manage a complex and dynamic asset development calendar.
  • Drive forecast of annual content demand and optimize plans against available capacity
  • Partner with our technology team to implement automated tools that meet our cross-functional partners’ needs
  • Build and align the overall Content Operations process against key business goals, strategies and executions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure execution, measurement and optimization of campaign goals and objectives.
  • Leverage conflict management skills to resolve and diffuse issues for maximum alignment and efficiency.
  • Responsible for Ad operations where necessary for the media channel – including, but not limited to: ensuring activities related to successful ad serving, managing Dynamic Creative Optimization platforms for successful content delivery etc.

Experience required

  • Experience in videogames or similar dynamic sports/entertainment environments
  • 5+ years working at creative or in-house agencies
  • 3 years in Content Ops/Trafficking or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Ad Operations and/or media agencies desirable
  • Experience with content delivery/management systems (e.g. Content production systems, DAMs, TMPs, DCOs etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in Excel (or equivalent tool)
  • Hands-on Project Management experience in independent but collaborative environment
  • International experience, or working with international clients preferred
  • High level of media understanding and managing media agencies
  • Have a good understanding and technical knowledge of formats, HTML5, Video specs, TV Specs, etc.
  • Fluency in English essential, other languages beneficial
