Position Title: Sr Manager Engineering - Security

Program Manager, Game Security, Madden, EA Sports

The Game Security Program Manager will be partnering with key leaders in the organization to manage and coordinate the game security program of the Madden titles at the Tiburon Studio.

The Program Manager will work closely with game security leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure coherent execution against an aligned strategy and rapid response to emerging needs with strong focus on fantastic player experience. In particular, he/she will be accountable for:

  • Effectively partnering with game development teams, central platform teams, central security teams, customer experience teams, and others.
  • Working with key stakeholders to maintain the application security product roadmap.
  • Coordinating and securing resources to continue improving the security capabilities and security posture of the games and their services.
  • Coordinating game security operations.
  • Coordinating game security assessments, understanding, measuring, and communicating risks, and corresponding action plans.
  • Frequently presenting to senior leadership status of operations and current and future development work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the creation of game security roadmap, aligning with game security leaders, which considers key security posture deficiencies, business constraints, stakeholders’ objectives, and then coordinates execution against the roadmap
  • Identifies resourcing needs, provides challenges and development opportunities to ensure that all employees reach their full potential and continuously develop their security knowledge and skills
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with immediate team, partner teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects, and game security posture improvements
  • Coordinates frequent systematic and comprehensive cyber-risk assessments and provide pragmatic and actionable recommendation within the relevant business context
  • Maintains regular communication with project team, partner teams and executive stakeholders
  • Coordinates Security Operations processes and drives the teams to measure their effectiveness and continuously improve and adapt
  • Advocates the teams for adhering to the Security Incident response lifecycle

 
Requirements:

  • Strong background and current knowledge of Application-Security including best practices and industry standards as well as knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure Security and Fraud
  • Extensive experience in program, project and/or product management
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • CISSP or CISM certified, or willingness to attain one of them within 12 months.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment with the occasional off-hours incident response and up to 10% travel
  • Interest in sports and video games
