Motive, le plus récent studio AAA de Electronic Arts, est à la recherche d'un Directeur du développement. 

Votre rôle :

  • Diriger des équipes multidisciplinaires et multifonctionnelles dans la livraison de fonctionnalité, de modules ou de composants propres à un jeu ou à un module de contenu post-lancement.
  • Coordonner les équipes de mêlée (scrum) dans l’atteinte des objectifs de sprint, en contribuant à diriger et à organiser les ressources dans la planification et le suivi de leur travail.
  • Collaborer avec le producteur senior et le directeur créatif à la définition et à la communication des buts, des objectifs, des plans et des étapes clés du projet à l’équipe de projet.
  • Collaborer avec les cadres fonctionnels à la gestion continue des compromis entre la portée, les ressources et le délai durant le cycle de vie du projet pour la livraison de jeux AAA.
  • Documenter, communiquer et gérer les processus clés de gestion de projet au sein de l’équipe de projet et dans l’ensemble de l’entreprise.
  • Relever, analyser, hiérarchiser, atténuer et communiquer les risques associés au projet; établir des plans d’atténuation efficaces et réalisables pour les risques les plus élevés.
  • Assurer la création de documents de gestion de projet, incluant rapports de situation, plans de projet, plans de communication, bilans et compilations d’information historique.
  • Collaborer avec le producteur senior, le directeur créatif et les chefs d’équipe à l’avancement et à la qualité du projet ainsi qu’à l’évaluation continue et à la conception du système de suivi de bogues / gestion des tâches.

Ce que vous apportez :

  • Diplôme universitaire ou d’un programme postsecondaire reconnu en gestion de projets ou dans une discipline connexe.
  • Expérience de gestion d’une équipe multidisciplinaire avec des dépendances externes dans le cadre d’une grande production.
  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience dans la planification de ressources et la gestion de projets de grande complexité.
  • Expérience reconnue dans l’industrie du jeu avec au moins un jeu AAA à son actif.

Motive, Electronic Arts’ newest AAA studio, is seeking a Development Director.

What you’ll do:

  • Leads multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to deliver functionality, modules or specific components of a game or post-release content module.
  • As a DD, you coordinate Scrum teams to meet their sprint goals, helping to lead and organise resources in planning and tracking their work.
  • Works with the Sr Producer and Creative Director to establish and communicate project goals, objectives, plans and milestones to the project team.
  • Works with functional managers to continuously manage trade-offs between scope, resources and time during the project lifecycle to deliver AAA games.
  • Documents, communicates and administers key project management processes within the project team and across the company.
  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks; develop effective and achievable mitigation plans for highest risk issues.
  • Responsible for the creation of project management documents including status reports, project plans, communications plans, post-mortems and compiling historical information.
  • Works with the Sr Producer, Creative Director and team leads in assessing the progress and quality of the project and the ongoing assessment and design of the bug tracking / task management system.

 

What you bring:

  • University degree or graduate of a recognized post secondary program in project management or related discipline.
  • Experience running a multidisciplinary team with external dependencies, as part of a large production
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with scheduling resources and managing projects of significant complexity.
  • Proven track record in the games industry with at least one shipped AAA game
