Role Overview: As an Automation Software Engineer Intern, you will work with software engineers and program managers to help build and extend automated testing coverage of our back-end technologies and help us maintain the quality of our titles.




Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Leverage existing automation and frameworks to support back-end technologies 
  • Collaborate with development team(s) to build confidence in quality through automation
  • Help build automation coverage and scripts to improve overall quality verification process 
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues discovered through our automation efforts 
  • Clarify how features should function to eliminate ambiguous requirements
  • Provide live support including feedback, issue investigation, and evaluation 
  • Identify, document, and highlight risks - providing mitigation or contingency solutions 



Role Requirements:

 

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program and are slated to graduate after Summer 2020 (i.e. Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and beyond) 
  • You have experience with unit testing, continuous integration testing, or debugging 
  • You have a solid grasp of programming capabilities in C# (C++ is beneficial)
  • You have worked in Jira, Confluence, Git, or Perforce 
  • You are not shy about asking for help and enjoy collaborating with teams 
  • You know how to communicate your vision and ask clarifying questions of others 
  • You are energetic and motivated about overcoming challenges and solving problems
