The Challenge

A full time, mostly site-specific position focused on IT client-based solutions enabling the development of games and providing a great employee experience.

 

The Job

Position will be responsible for close interactions with senior development personnel to fully understand and align with studio processes and initiatives.  Role will require “self-starter” mentality, pro-active collaboration with Software Engineers, TDs, and senior IT staff to solve for title specific client issues affecting development.  Position to be focused on environment optimization and engineering-based initiatives to improve studio operations.  Position to participate in IT communities focused on future standards and knowledge sharing.  This will also include escalations and afterhours support as needed.

  • Build and maintain pro-active relationships with studio senior technical leads and IT team members.
  • Strong understanding of PC client workstation hardware, operating systems, applications, development consoles, printers, mobile devices, networking, macOS and Apple specific software.
  • Strong background in testing for and optimizing client workstations and applications.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of video conferencing equipment and usage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to resolve incident escalations from corporate/studio desktop support teams.
  • Able to provide desktop support to VIP’s, VP/SVP & C-level executives.
  • Ability to clearly document processes with the intent to shift to desktop support teams and/or the Global Service Desk.
  • Participate and/or lead IT projects with the ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Understanding of current hardware standards and future hardware releases.
  • Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SIP, as well as network hardware.

 

Work Experience Requirements

  • 5 years of general computer installation, maintenance and repair experience.
  • 4 years of Active Directory experience.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge to provide support and day-to-day troubleshooting in the following Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, iOS, Android.
  • Understanding of current hardware standards and future hardware releases.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise administrative tools including Cisco TMS, Call Manager, Active Directory, SCCM, JAMF, etc.
  • Understanding of server-side components and applications including web, application, and database infrastructure.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Proficient in resolving issues relating to Outlook, Skype, and Office 365 apps.
  • Coordinate with vendors for onsite evaluations and service calls.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to solve complex problems.
  • Help define best practices to employees seeking IT support.
  • Produce appropriate debug information and find details in application and network errors.
  • Good knowledge of network/servers and storage.
