About The Team

EAX lives within the Strategic Growth group of EA. We’re chartered with building out the future of EA and

delivering forward-looking growth opportunities. Our team is on the cutting edge of the gaming industry. You’ll be joining a team of product leaders, each focused on a domain and user facing outcome. Each team is made up of pods consisting of dedicated design, program management, engineering, and user research. We’re designed so teams can be self-sustaining and able to deliver against their outcomes.

 

Role Summary

We are looking for a product manager to work on our network mobile app. You will partner directly with the Director of Mobile to help define the mobile concept and ultimately execute against that vision. Ideally, you should have experience working consumer facing products, working with cross-functional teams and an ability to execute and iterate on live products. You should also be committed to continuous improvement and determined to strive for quality in the mobile app. In this role, you will also be responsible for collaborating with other product managers to deliver a world-class, consistent product experience across platforms.




Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Mobile to define the product vision 
  • Lead a scrum team (or multiple) to deliver the mobile / social features 
  • Define priorities that go on the product roadmaps and backlog.
  • Define requirements, write user stories, identify analytics requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive results
  • Work with the Director of Mobile to prioritize live service investments in conjunction with partners in engineering, marketing, operations, and design to advance learnings and improve business results
  • Identify performance metrics, specify data requirements, and drive data-driven ideation and testing to improve player experience, drive player adoption, engagement and retention 
  • Report to the Director of Mobile and Executive Producter on the state of development, new concepts and key risks
  • Help provide ROI and business cases around new product concepts 
  • Collaborate with other product managers to deliver a world-class, consistent product experience across platforms
  • Develop meaningful business relationships with partner teams to ensure the app is positioned for a success soft-launch
  • Structure and execute experiments, including A/B tests, to test hypotheses and generate impactful insights




 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in product management, product design, mobile app development or related consumer product experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and build solutions and experiences addressing customer needs
  • Experience with digital ecosystems, social networks, digital-only services or applications
  • Passionate about delivering connected and personalized experiences for players
  • Proficient understanding mobile, social, and, gaming industry trends
  • Competent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong aptitude for data interpretation, multi-variant testing, and technology
  • Willingness to grow leadership and people management skills 
  • Confident team collaborator who is comfortable taking direction or helping set direction
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to interact at the Destination and Scrum level 
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
