  • Our Consumer Insights team - based in Redwood City, CA, with a European hub in Bucharest, we are a collaborative team that includes your fellow title-focused CI managers and a team of researchers with diverse skill sets and focus areas.
  • Other members in the GAI organization - we work together to develop a cross-functional ‘voice of the player’ that leverages other areas of expertise (e.g. data science, telemetry analytics, user experience, social listening).
  • EA’s studios and brand leadership - we partner closely with decision-makers and thought-leaders across development, marketing, publishing, and brand to inform strategies from greenlight to launch and throughout live services.

In a typical week, this person could be…

  • Analyzing data, then building and presenting an insight-led story that guides product and marketing teams in their decision-making
  • Designing research projects that guide new feature development, using traditional or innovative techniques that are qualitative or quantitative in nature
  • Traveling to our EA SPORTS studios in Vancouver or Orlando to workshop product strategy and features, champion the essence of your studios’ brands and target players, and drive knowledge that identifies your games’ place in our EA portfolio

If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need these skills or experiences:

  • Scrappy. You’re comfortable with fast-paced, sprint-driven product cycles
  • Influential. You’re accustomed to collaborating with and influencing a cross-functional audience
  • Strategic. You have a track record of connecting the dots for your stakeholders and have strong business and marketing acumen
  • Creative. You’ve leveraged or designed non-traditional methodologies when the status quo wasn’t enough, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Insights Expertise. You’re experienced across various research techniques and methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative
  • 5-8 years of experience working in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or a related function
  • Nice to have: experience working in or with any of the following:
    • Interactive entertainment industry (e.g. video gaming, gaming/entertainment platforms)
    • Sports entertainment (e.g. sports franchises, teams, venues)
    • Consumer-facing digital technology industry (e.g. apps, platforms)
    • Linear creative entertainment (e.g. film, television)
