Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a strategy to migrate assets within an on-premise secure enclave to a cloud-hosted model. Our team is highly collaborative and moves fast to execute on new ideas. We iterate quickly, trying new concepts constantly and learning from them to improve the value to the business and quality of our execution. You will be critical in creating a hardened and dynamic environment to host our most sensitive internal systems.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess an on-premise environment of 700+ assets to determine the appropriate cloud hosting model
• Recommend execution strategy to ensure continuous service availability of migrated assets
• Collaborate with team members to incorporate DevOps workflows into all execution tasks
• Implement a pragmatic and test-oriented approach to service migrations
• Design and build services that are scalable, highly available, and easily maintainable

Minor Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile execution framework to continuously adapt to customer requirements while generating maximum value
• New identity/security service deployment and configuration

Qualifications for the Job:

• Good communication and engagement skills
• 3+ years’ experience working in Azure and AWS environments
• Competent with programming languages Python, .NET, SQL/MySQL, PowerShell by order of importance
• Firm understanding of cloud hosting methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS)
• General understanding and application of cloud security controls and concepts such as virtual private clouds, network segmentation, risk/liability frameworks, and golden images
• Familiarity with identity solutions

  • AWS IAM
• Strong foundation in Microsoft configuration management tools such as Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell DSC
