Senior Product Manager, Player Health Initiative

EA’s Player Network enables a continuous play experience, making it easy for players to discover and enjoy the games and the content that they love while connecting with friends and communities through meaningful, shared experiences. 

 

Part of the vision for EA’s Player Network includes empowering players and families to create a positive place for play. Opportunities in this space include but aren’t limited to enhanced family accounts, advanced play time analytics and controls, and more. 

 

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Product Manager to lead and execute against our roadmap and develop the ongoing roadmap for this important space. You’ll be working with multiple stakeholders across EA building alignment with the Player Network vision. This role will require high user empathy, ability to lead teams across departments, think strategically whilst running the day to day execution of your distributed product development team. This role will be based in our headquarters in Redwood City, California. Light travel to other EA offices will be required. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product opportunities, align key stakeholders, and evangelize the product vision across the company to build consensus on priorities and ensure stellar execution
  • Leverage your expertise and empathy from building consumer-facing products
  • Lead a development team co-located in Redwood City, California, and Vancouver, British Columbia. Collaborate with partner organizations and game teams to integrate key Player Network experiences.
  • Build rich relationships with leaders across experience design, engineering, marketing, game teams, and technology to ensure trust, clear communication, and collaboration
  • Identify opportunities using a variety of channels including data analytics, competitive research, design hypotheses, and user research
  • Create and maintain user-story documentation and roadmap, specify data requirements, and lead data-driven ideation and testing to drive Player Network features performance and KPIs
  • Execute product management processes and workflows to enable the above responsibilities and the delivery of an integrated and consistent player experience across the Player Network

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product management, program management, or related experience
  • Passionate about delivering connected and personalized experiences for players
  • High empathy for players and the ability to decipher their needs around this product space
  • Exceptional product sense, focus, and follow-through
  • Skilled in presenting and selling your vision to senior leaders upwards and across teams
  • Extensive experience with cross-functional team collaboration
  • Experience shipping consumer-facing products
  • BA/BS required
