Position Title: Intern General

External Description:

EA seeks a dedicated and skilled analyst to support its mobile publishing team. The analyst will work closely with our mobile publishing and mobile marketing leadership teams to help track, monitor and report game performance and player behavior across all of EA’s mobile game portfolio.  

Responsibilities:

  • Support the mobile publishing team to understand and track key mobile game performance indicators such as organic/paid installs, revenue, daily active users, etc.
  • Set up reports/dashboards to track and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns partnered with Apple/Google.
  • Analyze A/B test results using statistical methods.
  • Perform regular deep dives to investigate player segments, behaviors, and spending habits             
  • Provide reporting and performance monitoring by using data drawn from diverse sources with deep analysis and recommendations on findings.
  • Analyze daily performance data, including sales and in-game telemetry, to identify opportunities and challenges, then create strategies and tactics to drive results
  • Evaluate the impact/success of game events, content updates and marketing campaigns.  Establish benchmarks and provide projections during the planning phase; Provide feedback on segmentation and tracking; Assess performance against goals; Document learnings and make recommendations for improvement

 

Requirements

  • S. or M.S. in Math, Statistics, Economics or Computer Science
  • Preferred experience at a mobile / social games company or leading consumer web company
  • Strong practical experience of SQL and HIVE as a data query tool; experience of R, R Markdown and R-Shiny a big plus
  • Excellent data analysis skills required; experience of modeling, A/B testing, multivariate testing and statistics desirable
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional disciplines and influence effectively
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Strong business & creative capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team
