Motive est à la recherche d’un développeur d’animation pour se greffer à sa toute nouvelle équipe. Membre de l’équipe d’ingénierie de jeu du studio, le candidat retenu collaborera avec les spécialistes, les concepteurs et les artistes pour élaborer le système d’animation de notre prochain titre AAA.

Rôle du développeur d’animation chez Motive :

  • Concevoir, créer, maintenir et restructurer des systèmes d’animation qui satisfont à toutes les exigences en matière de conception, de technique et d’échéance
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes centrales Frostbite pour améliorer, maintenir et maximiser le moteur d’animation interne de Frostbite
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l’AQ et le leadership technique pour assurer la stabilité et l’exactitude des systèmes d’animation de jeu en relevant, en communiquant et en résolvant les défauts
  • Collaborer avec les concepteurs et les animateurs pour explorer des solutions qui favorisent l’avancement de la vision d’animation artistique et de conception
  • Mener les révisions de codes et de conception et y participer
  • Enquêter et adopter une nouvelle gamme de technologies de jeu, de pratiques, d’outils et de systèmes

Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat (ou diplôme supérieur) en informatique ou l’équivalent
  • Au moins 6 ans d’expérience professionnelle C/C++
  • Connaissance de C# un atout
  • Au moins deux titres AAA à son actif
  • Expérience de travail sur les plateformes de consoles actuelles (PS4/Xbox One) et sur PC
  • Excellentes compétences en mathématiques
  • Expérience des architectures client/serveur
  • Expérience des outils et des intergiciels d’animation avancée
  • Expérience en animations faciales, en animation procédurale/physique et en cinématique inverse
  • Expérience de développement de systèmes d’animation complexes pour des jeux sur PC ou des jeux de console de génération courante dont au moins un titre à son actif
  • Normes de travail élevées et désir d’atteindre et de dépasser les attentes
  • Fortes compétences de travail d’équipe, avec capacité de prendre le travail en main et de travailler de manière indépendante
  • Passion pour la création de jeux à jouabilité et à esthétique de haute qualité

Animation Developer

Motive Studios is seeking for an Animation Developer to join our newly formed team. As a member of our studio's Gameplay Engineering team you will work closely with engineers, designers and artists to develop animation system for our next AAA title.

 

What the Animation Developer will do at Motive:

  • Design, author, maintain, and refactor animation systems that meet all design, technical, and schedule requirements
  • Work closely with Frostbite central teams to improve, maintain and leverage Frostbite’s internal animation engine.
  • Work closely with QA and technical leadership to ensure the stability and accuracy of animation game systems by identifying, communicating, and resolving defects
  • Collaborate with designers and animators to brainstorm solutions that further the game’s animation artistic and design vision
  • Lead and participate in design and code reviews
  • Investigate and adopt new game technologies, practices, tools, and systems

Who You Are:

  • B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 6+ years of professional C/C++ experience
  • Knowledge of C# is an asset
  • Experience shipping at least two AAA titles
  • Experience working on current console platforms (PS4/Xbox One) and PC
  • Excellent math skills
  • Experience of client/server architectures
  • Experience with advanced animation tools/middleware
  • Experience working with facial animations, procedural/physical animation, and IK
  • Experience developing complex animation systems for published PC or current gen console games with at least one shipped title
  • High standards of work and desire to meet and exceed expectations
  • Strong teamwork skills but also the ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Passion for making games look and play great
