Position Title: Senior Brand Manager

Brand Manager – APEX LEGENDS

We are looking for a passionate and driven marketer with the ability to get things done in a fast moving environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about games/entertainment and is experienced building brands. This role will sit within the Global Brand Management team and work directly with Respawn Entertainment, the developer of APEX LEGENDS. Reporting to the Senior Director Global Brand Management, the role will focus on building strategies that expand and extend the IP globally into endemic and emerging categories. The model candidate has expertise in brand strategy, long-term planning and franchise development. He/she must be a critical thinker, great collaborator and data-informed to make key business decisions that drive growth for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine long-term brand identity and creative direction that ensure consistency in messaging across all player touchpoints.
  • Manage key external partners in merchandising and licensing
  • Conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing key strategies.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across studios, publishing and other cross-functional teams.
  • Analyzing performance data, including sales and in-game data, to identify opportunities and challenges, then create strategies and tactics to drive results.

Skills / Competencies:

  • Experience in brand management, brand strategy, and product marketing
  • Solid business, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Project management and coordination across functional groups and external partners
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Embraces working in a dynamic, flexible, ever changing environment

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with strong academic track-record
  • MBA from top-tier institution preferred
  • Minimum 4 years working in marketing roles at top tier gaming, entertainment and consumer goods companies
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Gaming industry experience and prior work with a licensor are a plus
  • Free to Play service experience is a plus
