Motive, le plus récent studio AAA de Electronic Arts, est à la recherche d'un artiste senior éclairage afin de propulser la qualité visuelle de nos jeux vers de nouveaux sommets. 

Rôle du prochain grand artiste éclairage chez Motive :

Conceptualiser et créer des actifs qui rehaussent la direction artistique et la vision globale du jeu, par exemple :

  • Concevoir des plans d'éclairage pour une variété d'environnements
  • Éclairer les environnements et la cinématique de jeu
  • Collaborer au développement du style visuel du jeu
  • Assurer l'étalonnage des couleurs et le travail de post-traitement
  • Créer des planches d’ambiances pour communiquer les plans d'éclairage proposés
  • Collaborer avec les concepteurs de jeu, les artistes d'environnement, les artistes d'effets visuels et les artistes techniques pour comprendre et interpréter les exigences liées à la conception du jeu 

Exigences : 

Excellente compréhension de la théorie de la couleur et des concepts d'éclairage. De plus, vous répondez aux critères ci-dessous :

  • Sens développé de la composition de scènes
  • Capacité de diriger l'attention des joueurs à l'aide de plans d'éclairage
  • Expérience de travail avec les rendus physiquement réalistes(PBR)
  • Connaissance de base en texture et nuance
  • Connaissances de base en photographie
  • Capacité de travailler conformément aux contraintes de mémoire et de performance tout en assurant une qualité visuelle élevée
  • Intérêt et aptitudes au développement technique de l’éclairage dans le moteur de jeu.
  • Expérience en production de jeu 
  • Vaste gamme de styles artistiques

Motive, Electronic Arts’ newest AAA studio, is seeking a Senior Lighting Artist to drive visual quality in our games to a new level in the industry. 

What the next great Lighting Artist will do at Motive:

Conceptualize and Create assets that enhance the art direction and overall vision of the game, for example:

  • Craft lighting schemes for a variety of environments
  • Light game environments and cinematics
  • Assist with visual style development
  • Colour grading and post-processing work
  • Create mood boards to communicate proposed lighting schemes
  • Collaborate with game designers, environment, VFX and technical artists to understand and interpret level design, environment art and VFX requirements within the engine’s technical limitations

Who You Are: 

You have an excellent understanding of color theory and lighting concepts. Additionally, you have:

  • Strong sense of scene composition
  • Ability to lead the player’s attention via lighting schemes
  • Experience working with physically based rendering (PBR)
  • Basic shader/material knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in photography
  • Ability to work within memory and performance constraints while maintaining high visual quality
  • Interest and skills in lighting development technic for the game engine
  • Previous game production experience 
  • Breadth of artistic styles

Must have:

  • Experience creating textures and environments is an advantage
  • Experience creating environments is a plus
