The Global Analytics and Insights (GAI) group at Electronic Arts is the heart of player, product and business analysis or out titles. The is one of the most critical roles we have as it acts as both a part of the game development team and as a center of growth for our analytics staff – The person in this role is most successful when they can merge technical skill with game play knowledge to drive incredible player experiences. If that’s you then we should talk!  The right candidate will be able to drive decision-making insights, experiments and engagement models to action.

 

Responsibilities

 

  •  Influence development decisions and marketing strategies through fact-based data-driven insights and analysis; be a key agent of change for EA digital product strategy and marketing optimization
  • Take the lead in finding new opportunities to explore data to improve the consumer experience, improve the product, drive incremental changes to the product
  • Perform strategic analysis using all available sources of information (internal consumer data, consumer insights, research data, industry sources), to support the decision-making process and strategic direction of marketing; evangelize this work throughout the studio
  • Work with key stakeholders to evaluate ROI for new products, marketing strategies, licensing and other initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between studio and other central teams (insights, data science, CRM, PBM, social marketing, etc.) and the studios
  • Work closely with other EA Analytics teams to define segmentation groupings and life-time value metrics, and build propensity models that predict churn, engagement, and other user behaviors
  • Monitor market to best understand price optimization and consumer appetite for digital content
  • Work with key stakeholders to implement the right tracking/telemetry in our products, in an iterative way so that our knowledge continues to evolve
  • Partner with BI and reporting teams to develop requirements for dashboards and reports for live service teams as well as reports for execs
  • Develop and maintain forecast models for digital products, working with marketing, dev and finance
  • Manage weekly operational forecasts with key studio stakeholders
