About the Role:

We are a small prototyping team working on a new unannounced mobile title looking for experienced engineers who enjoy working closely with other disciplines like art, design, server engineering, etc on a variety of features—from gameplay to metagame and UI/UX to miscellaneous tech projects. If you’re looking for a role that allows you have to have a huge impact on a game from start to shipping, then this could be a great fit for you!

You will report into the studio Associate Technical Director for this role.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in C++.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams (design, art, QA, etc).
  • You can work autonomously and have the desire to quickly learn new concepts and systems.

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge or experience of networked multiplayer games.
  • Experience using the Unreal Engine, preferably UE4.
  • Experience in gameplay or player-facing features (especially if it involved UI implementation or social features).
  • Experience building RPG, rogue-like, or collection-based games.
  • Experience in mobile development (iOS, Android).
  • Enjoys being a generalist and working in multiple areas of code—from gameplay to UI/UX.
