Team

EAX is a high performing team within EA that manages several digital distribution and subscription products including Origin and EA Access. Access allows users to purchase subscriptions and games on PC and console platforms. Users can stay connected to everything Access, take their pick of all the great games in ‘The Vault’ and play as much as they want for a low monthly, and even lower annual, subscription fee. In addition, they can put upcoming EA games to the test before the release date with exclusive Play First Trials.

What you will do

  • Hands-on crafting of CSS, HTML, and JS
  • Be part of a ~10-15 person cross functional scrum team
  • Work closely with Experience Design throughout the design and development process
  • Work closely with Experience Design throughout the design and development process 
  • Deliver iterative value for our players, marketing and game franchise partners 
  • Contribute to building a modular and performant progressive web application
  • Use your knowledge of software engineering concepts to design and implement tested, reusable, and modular code
  • Be an active learner who is up for expanding your breadth of knowledge 
  • Have passion for your craft. You feel ownership over everything you ship.

Skills and experience

  • Technical and practical understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field highly preferred
  • Experience using Git and related tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket etc
  • Experience using ES2015

Bonus Skills and experience

  • Experience using front-end build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, Grunt, Gulp, Browserify, and npm scripts
  • Experience with CSS processors such as PostCSS, Sass, or Less
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as React, Redux, Apollo, AngularJS and Polymer
  • Experience with UI / UX
  • Experience with server-side development using nodeJS, PHP, Java, Ruby or Python
  • Experience working in server side frameworks such as Koa, Play, Symfony, Rails, Express or Django.
