Role description

We build software applications that improve the workflows and quality-of-life for hundreds of game creators at DICE. We are now looking for a Software Engineer experienced with PaaS technology such as AWS, GCP or Azure, to drive architecture and Cloud Native practices in this space.

Responsibilities include deployment and management of clusters, development of microservices and custom tools for game development needs. We expect the right candidate to be able to set up alerts, metrics and tracing, and create a highly available, cutting-edge infrastructure for DICE developers to run any types of workloads on.

Key Skills

Software Engineer with knowledge and interest in Cloud Native and PaaS technology:

• Cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure
• Services such as Datadog or Grafana/Prometheus
• Cluster deployments with Kubernetes or mesos/aurora
• Distributed systems architecture, microservices architecture in particular
• Application deployment, automation and CI/CD
• Container technology (Docker)
• Proficient in any modern scripting language
• Expert level skills in any typed programming language, preferably in Golang, C++ or C#
