The Data Collection & Licensing group (DCL) of EA Sports FC is looking for a Sr Project Manager with Project Management expertise and interest in football. Our mission is to make our games as authentic as possible, and that's why we want YOU. Our Sr Project Managers ensures the delivery of project scope on time and within budget. As the next Sr PM of EA Sports FC, you will report to the Head of DCL.

Your Responsibilities

• You will oversee the project schedule, organize the backlog, and ensure that the Data Collection team achieves the highest possible standards.
• You will set and enforce operational standards including milestone gates, project management measurement targets, project process, operations budgets, and tracking/reporting guidelines.
• You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, project prioritization, make tradeoffs, and balance the needs versus technical constraints.
• You will manage requirements and risks for assigned scope and quality, remove roadblocks and raise red flags.
• You will provide input and support long term vision/roadmap for DCL.
• You will establish engagement processes to ensure all workflows are clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff are trained in expectations.
• You will coordinate dependencies with external and internal partners.
• You will establish a project budget, determine task dependencies, and assign tasks to team resources.
• You will oversee the post mortem process, ensuring insights are captured, and improvements to process/team/tools are actioned on.
• You will participate in the hiring process.

 

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years project management experience, working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience communicating effectively with internal and external organisations and across all levels.
• Experience of a Scrum/Agile software development environment and a proficient user of Jaas/Jira and Excel (can perform complex functions)/Sheets.
• Used to work in environment that values collaboration and with remote teams.
• Knowledge of EA SPORTS football titles and football knowledge advantageous.
• Background in sports data collection or analysis beneficial.
• Experience in people managing a big team beneficial.
