We have shipped Titanfall and Titanfall 2 to critical acclaim, and are currently hiring for our Star Wars™, Titanfall, and Unannounced VR game development teams. We're looking for a highly skilled Cinematic Designer who will embrace our philosophy and share his/her hard earned expertise to create an incredible experience for our players. What you’ll do...

Collaborate with animation, art, design and audio to create cinematics, interactive narrative content and scripted events.

Under the direction of the narrative lead, act as a champion of story, character, thematic coherence and realization throughout development.

Working with the narrative and cinematic leadership, contribute towards realization of game narrative inside cinematics and interactive narrative-focused content. Uphold process and excellence across pre-visualization, cinematic design, realization and integration.

 

Ideally, you will have...

3+ years professional experience working in cinematics and interactive narratives for games (strongly preferred.)

Experience creating world-class cinematics and/or animation.

Experience taking a shot from layout, through previs and into the final result.

The ability to alternately deep dive technically, throw together prototypes and communicate cinematic vision and intent across the development team.

Familiarity with and appreciation of the Star Wars™ universe, stories, and lore.

Passion for third-person action adventure games.

An understanding of visual storytelling, camera direction and mise-en-scène.

Experience and knowledge in 3d packages with a focus on Maya.

Experience using video editing software.

Familiarity with real time engine technology.
